Westin Maui Resort And Spa Knowledge Base
Is The Westin Maui Resort in Lahaina as bad as people say? I am staying at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa in lahaina in January. It is an expensive property to stay at. I have read a bunch of reviews and they are 1/2 and 1/2. Either people love it or think it is a dump. Does anyone have a good evaluation of this property?
What do you recommend for a honeymoon to Maui? My fiance and I are going to Oahu for two nights, and then on to Maui for a week to 12 days (we haven't decided yet). Neither of us have ever been there. Any recommendations you could give about travel books, places to see, stay, or things to do would be greatly appreciated. We were thinking about staying at either the Sheraton Maui Resort, or the Westin Maui Resort & Spa. Of course, we are open to suggestions. Thanks so much!

Help!!! Where to stay at Kannapali beach? Going to Maui in March, less than a month from now. I already booked room to westin maui resort and spa. However, it is refundable, and I am looking for something neear the westin and more toward my price. I have done research for months and was attracted to the westin , but with bad reviews, I'm deciding that since I won't be spending much time in the room and I would like to consider a condo? Again, I want to stay in the general area and be walking distance from all the surrounding hotels. I also want to go snorkeling at black rock, and shop at whalers. Please, help! I was thinking of the whalers?? Or, the Maui Kai?? Any suggestions??
Planning A Trip To Maui? We will be going to maui from june 28- july 6 of this year. We are still deciding on a hotel. I know the Grand Waleia is the nicest hotel on the island but I dont want to pay $800 per night. We are trying to decide between the Fairmont Kea Lani or the Westin Resort and Spa on Kaanapali Beach. I am leaning towards the westin since its close to the town of Lahaina. Has anyone stayed at either hotel? Also How crowded is the island going to be on the 4th of July? Would it be best to plan for later in august or just stay with our plans we are making now?
