Silk Elements hair care products....? Does anyone know if this hair care line is safe for a 3 yr old's hair? I am currently using on my daughter's hair and it does wonders for her hair, but her grandmother insists that it might be too strong for her hair and may cause her hair to fall out. I have not seen any harm to her hair but then again I don't know how long it would take. I just want to know one way or the other. Any feedback would be be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Ethnic hair care products- hair spray? I am white, but I have long, curly, thick, dry, coarse hair that for as far back as I can remember has been impossible to tame. I recently started using ethnic hair care products... it was my last resort and I figured it couldn't possibly make anything worse, haha. I've been using "Silk Elements" products- the shampoo, conditioner, heat-protectant spray, and moisturizing oil sheen spray, all with olive oil in them- and they are a god-send! They've been working very, very well for me. My question is, can anyone recommend a hair spray for me? I like hair sprays that have LOTS of hold. Please only answer if you also use ethnic hair care products, because the ones designed for 'white hair' just don't work for me- I've been through Aussie, Tresemme, Suave... countless ones. So any recommendations??

I have sensitive skin. Please I need advice about what oil to use in my hair to make it soft and manageable again. I currently wash my hair every other week and press it.
mixed girl hair problems! help!? am 50% black 25% german and 25% irish. my hair has to be some of the absolute thickest, coarsest, poofiest hair there is. i have exteremely tight curls (about the width of a #2 pencil!) and when my hair gets wet they all tangle together and my hair gets all matted, exteremly tangled, and very very VERY nappy, it like a bird's nest! when i'm done washing my hair and it comes time for me to style it, it's like trying to tame the beast. I have to shampoo, condition, and then use cholestrol plus twice, i put in heat protector spray, and john freida temporary relaxer smoothing serum(which only helps slightly, but if i don't use it's practically impossible to style my hair) then i blow dry, and flat iron. all of this takes me about 3 hours to do, and the next morning i have to straighten my entire head again, cuz it poofs up in my sleep, becouse of this, i avoid washing it for as long as i can stand it, which makes my scalp itches from being dirty. i have to flat iron my hair every morning when i wake up or else it looks awful! i've treid to go without straightening it, but if i don't do it, i look like a bumb whith nappy uncombed hair! i do get my hair relaxed, which helps, but not enough, cuz it's still as unmanagable as ever! i've had my hair dyed many diffrent times and bleached in some areas, so i could put crazy colors like hotpink and neon yellow in it, which i kind of regret now becouse my hair is really fryed and breaks of like crazy! when i finish brushing my hair in the morning, my shirt gets covered in broken strands of hair. the breakage is the worst in the in the middle of my head, the hair on the sides of my head have to be at least six inches longer! becouse of this, the only style that i can wear my hair inis pigtails. also my hair is very short towards the sides nxt to my bangs. it only goes down to the lobes of my ears in this erea! over all in the parts where my hair is longest, it only reaches the base of my neck! please help with my hair! i can't take it anymore, it's driving me crazy! please give me some advice on products to use that will tame my curls, keep my hair healthy, help it grow, give it strength, and try to reverse some of the damage. please make sure they are products geared towards african american/ mixed hair. i found that products geared for white people's hair (like pantene, granier fructis, etc.) make my hair even harder to work with! any other advice and tips on how to take care of my hair would be very helpful! thankyou! p.s. i got cream of nature shampoo, procailm olive oil conditionar, and silk elements deep condtiona today, do you think they'll help?
