I have been purchasing Dominican hair care products for over half a year now, but with a new addition to the family arriving soon :o) I have to start cutting down on how much and what i spend money on :( has anyone found a good site that sells dominican hair products or natural hair care products at reasonable prices?
has anyone ever heard of racioppi hair care products? I go to a Dominican hair stylist because i have permed black hair. She recommended Racioppi hair care products for my hair. (the hair loss lotion) Has anyone heard of it and used it? Does it work? What does it do? Also does anyone have any suggestions on what oils are best for growing healthy thicker hair? thanks
Should African American NOT use oil hair products like grease, cremes, sheens... on their scalp or hair? It is recommended by the Dominican Hair Stylists NOT to use hair care products. As an African American, my hair always needed oil or some type of moisturizer and sheen.
What is the name of an unpopular hair care product? It is made in the Dominican Republic. The conditioner comes in a round, aqua - greenish container and the shampoo comes in a large bottle. I believe the name begins with an R but I'm not sure. If anyone has even the slightest of clue please, please let me know. Thank you in advance. And it is not KUZ. I am very familiar with that line. Although the containers pretty much looks the same, it is different.
Dominican hair salon/ethnic hair care question? I just got my hair done at a dominican hair salon friday and i loved it!!!! but i think i messed it up!!! my hair had alot of volume which i loved, i sprayed alittle hair spray in it yesterday night and now its sort of flat...i'm really upset with myself! what should to get the volume back? i was thinking next time i should just leave it free of any products until the next salon visit, but is that ok to do with ethnic hair? also, how often should i go to the dominican salon for just a wash and straighten? and what should i do to maintain the style? thanks! Thanks!
What and Where are the best places in Chicago?? I've visited Chicago a number of times but now that I'm moving there, I need to know the best places for the following services. Shopping: The Best Malls, stores like Guess, Forever 21, BeBe, Rural Metro and Victoria's Secret. Hair Salon: For woman of color. African American and Dominican Hair. The best place to get a stylish cut. Best Beauty Supply Stores: Hair products, make-up skin care Best place to go out and meet people. I'm a woman in my late twenty's. I perfer an older more mature setting. I'm not a fan of stuffy crowds filled with, "the barely legal"! I enjoy live music, R&B, or Jazz. So, if anyone know of any place like that, pass it to me! Feel free to name any other places that you think might be helpful to me. Gracias Thank you!
Good Hair salons for Black Women's Hair - Please Help? Hi! I just moved to NYC, left what had to be the greatest hairdresser that ever touched my hair and now have no one to do my hair here. I tried a Dominican hair salon in Harlem, and was not satisfied. They got my hair really straight like it had just been permed - which surprising as it may be is not a texture I like.... and made my hair extremely flat and "blah" lol. My main problem was the stylists lack of care and the heavy use of heat without what I thought was adequate product for heat protection. It was like a furnace under the dryer and a torture blow-dry At my old hair stylist I got a wash, conditioner, under dryer, flat iron straighten - with volume and then a ceran wrap under the dryer again for like 5 mins and then comb out. So if you know any good places anywhere in NYC or Jersey please let me know - the closer to Queens the better! Thank you =)

The way my avaeter's hair or whatever this doll to th left is called ... my hai is exactly like this! only it's big and really thick in the middle...please help! What products are good for me, what styling tips do you have, WHAT can I do?? What things will help with my natural look, and what styles can I do, and what will prevent it from getting soo big? It's like Kelis' hair times 2 , and after a day or two it's a wrap! It's a big, curly afro. Trust me it doesn't look cute. PS I was told Dominicans would be good with my hair type. Professional stylists always trying to throw a perm in my head, I could do that myself! No one knows what to do with this. A wet set is a straight wrap the next day, a damp ponytail is a curly puff in 6 hrs. What do I do?????? I want to repost
