What do you think about brothers and sisters forming a sexual relationship?
Recently i saw a documentary about brothers and sisters being reunited in their adult lives and ending up forming a sexual relationship.. The Program claimed, well ringed this as genetic attraction. I was shocked with this Program but yet maybe because they missed out on growing as a children maybe that's why the bond has gone to sexual attraction. What do you think?

- nasty, wrong.
- I think Relatives having sex is just wrong!! :@)
- I don't understand how someone can be attracted to their brother or sister... But hey, if they're both consent adults, they can do whatever they want. They're not hurting anyone, so there... I'd rather die than having sex with my brothers or sister! But it doesn't mean everyone in the world feel the same way I do.
- I don't see what this has to do with LGBT. More incest. And, I'm a bit grosed out by it honestly. I don't want to sound offensive, but I just couldn't imagine that with any of my brothers & sisters *cringe*
- SICK SICK SICK SICK SICK SICK SICK
- It's really wrong.
- i would shoot myself in the knee cap before i'd have sex with my brother. that's just nasty!
- If they're consenting adults then I don't really have a problem with it however they should not try and have children because that can lead to problems for the kids. Hey, what's with the thumbs down!? All I said was that if that if they're consenting then why stop them. Personally, I would rather be shot than have sex with any of my relatives.
- It's wrong. There's plenty of people out there, you don't need to keep it in the family.
- ew
- Gross. Psychologically disturbing.
- From a strictly biological point of view, this makes no sense. Genes are selfish, in that they are designed to replicate and that's it. However, relatives have at least half your genes, meaning they may carry a recessive lethal gene that you also do. This would result in the death of the resulting progeny. Therefore, it would be against a gene's function for two related individuals to mate. However, the only way you can tell if someone is related to you is by being raised with them. Evidently, the two individuals from this program were not raised together and so did not have the concept of relatedness. That does not mean that it was a genetic attraction; their genes would program them to avoid sexual relationships with each other, simply because of the aforementioned fact.
- That's just gross and nasty!
- Not a good thing at all...
- seriously seriously odd
- Watch the movie Deliverance and you will have all the proof you need that incest is not such a good idea.
- I saw a similar documentary and you can't help feeling sorry for the people in it. I mean, imagine if you met the love of your life and found out they were your sibling? It would be devastating. I don't want to even begin to thinking about having sex with my sister!! But as long as it's two consenting adults and no one's getting hurt then I don't see what's wrong with it. Obviously it would be wrong if they had kids, but if it's not affecting us then I don't see what right we have to say that it's "wrong".
- I'm going out on a limb here. I can honestly say that what two consenting adults do behind closed doors does not affect me in the least. If a brother and sister want to have sexual relations, who am I to stop them? I'm in no position to judge anyone, just like I don't want people judging me. With that said, personally, there's no way I'll ever be attracted to any members of my family.
- Personally. I can't think of anything nastier than doing with my brother. But I feel sorry for people who meet and fall in love, only to learn they're siblings, it's not fair to start hating on them for that. Also of the brother and sister are both consenting adults and there's no element of abuse I can't really say anything against that. People might say that their children would be deformed or something but I read somewhere that it only raises the risk by about two percent. And even if that isn't right they can always just not have children.
- I haven't seen the documentary, but consider it dangerous behavior. The after-effects cannot be calculated, & they could be psychologically severe. There would also be family & social consequences, & unless one of the siblings is sterile, there is always the risk of a less-than-perfect pregnancy. Incest is more common than generally recognized, but it is not always fully consensual, & if one partner feels there has been coercion, then or later, or even just a power play, the results could be devastating. There have been documented cases of sexual partners later finding out they were sibling (most often happens in cases of artificial insemination), & even then there is shame & guilt. Attraction is no excuse for engaging in risky behavior & those who would justify or condone it knowing the potential consequences are irresponsible, too.
- I find it funny that the majority of people who make a negative argument against homosexuality by bringing up incest are actually in support of a religion where incest was a part of their god's perfect plan of populating the earth. (if everything started with Adam and Eve, their had to have been some sibling relations going on there)......it's just ironic :)
- IT IS SO WRONG!
- Its just really wrong and really sick, no matter if they are consenting adults or not, its sick. I couldnt imagine having sex with my brothers and UUHGG, its sick. Whats wrong with someone who would have sex with their brother or sister. Seriously, something is wrong there....And there is something is wrong with people who support it.
- Its nasty & wrong for me but who am I to judge other people?
- My own personal opinion is it's so wrong it can never be right, but if it's a consented relationship between adults who has the right to interfere?
- uhhh, ewwww so wrong!
