What is a great moisturizing lotion for extremely dry skin?

I have a problem with dry skin. My skin has gotten to the point where I have patches of dry skin that can be itchy, that if I scratch just a little bit become rashes. I want to know what moisturizing lotion is the best for someone in my situation. Thanks, Caitlin :]

1. drink more water and use AmLactin on the rough areas. keep a food diary to help rule out allergy & see your dermatologist.
