Hot Tubs /Spa?

Thinking of putting one of these in. Any success and /or horror stories?

  1. only horror story was a friend who thought drinking champagne in the tub was a good idea.....
  2. They really bring a lot of pleasure...just make sure you use a reputable com[pany !!
  3. no not heard of any..can i come round when you have one
  4. We have one that came with the house we purchased. It's very nice to have and a great conversation piece. We don't get in it as nearly as much as we thought we would. It is important to keep it maintained because it becomes a part of your homes value. We have to have jets replaced every year, the control panels twice, and the motor once. Ours sit inside a gazebo that's made out of wood so we have to keep that looking nice and maintained properly. You also have to take account of the impact on your electric bill. Last summer we had a lot of backyard cookouts and we left the cover off for a month. Our electric bill was a whopping $250, so never leave the cover off unless you plan on using it.
  5. Liked using them on hols so got one ourselves. Great.....if this one broke we'd replace straight away.
  6. I thought about it but decided on a jacuzzi tub in our bedroom. We don't entertain and thought a large tub in our bedroom was a better idea and am well pleased with the results. These are less expensive to buy and maintain. This is just to give you an option you may not have thought about.
  7. had sauna and spa in my last house but i don't miss it like everything else i guess when the novelty wears off you find its used less and less but go ahead and get one ! some folk get a kick out of them
